KRISTA PITTMAN
CAGOP POLITICAL DIRECTOR

Krista Pittman is the Political Director of the California Republican Party and has had an extensive political career primarily focused on supporting and electing Republicans at various levels of government. She began her political journey as a Junior Political Coordinator at the San Diego County Republican Party. Thereafter, she continued to work on campaigns, including city council, mayoral, county supervisorial, and congressional. Notably in 2016, she served as Congressman Darrell Issa’s Deputy Field Director during his re-election campaign. In her most recent role, Krista Pittman served as the Field & Political Director for the California Republican Party, contributing to the successful flipping of three seats from Democrat to Republican on both the state and federal levels. She also served as the California State Director for the Republican National Committee, where she played a pivotal role in helping the party secure four House seats in California, surpassing any other state in terms of new Republican members elected to Congress. 

RYAN MAY
ORANGE COUNTY FIELD DIRECTOR

Ryan May started as an intern for the OCGOP back in 2018 and began serving as the Orange County Republican Party’s Field Director during the Recall of Gavin Newsom in 2021. Since then, he has been leading the party’s efforts to recruit, train, and organize volunteers across the county. Ryan graduated with a degree in Political Science from UCLA and hopes to return to attend law school.

Karen Sewell is the appointed Orange County GOP’s Election Integrity Officer.  She is dedicated to finding, training, and scheduling volunteers for observing our elections either at the voting location to the Registrar of voters where the votes are counted.  Republicans in California have a ton of resources to utilize for Election Integrity but it won’t matter unless we have eyes watching what’s happening out there!  Karen will present the tools that are available to ALL Californians made available from the RNC and CRP. These tools include an attorney-staffed election hotline which helps not only our Republican volunteers but voters as well.   

Karen, who has been appointed since 2021, will walk through programs available that will fit into everyone’s schedules and time-frame.  She’ll let you know what the difference ONE person’s observations can make! Aside from being an active volunteer for the OCGOP, Karen, a CRP Delegate, is currently the Newsletter Editor and Financial Review Officer for Pat Nixon RWF as well as a member of the Yorba Linda Republican Assembly.  Karen has assembled over 200 volunteers since 2021 to help OC keep a watch on our elections.
