Welcome to the Golden State Republican Women’s District Directors Center! GSRW has compiled a set of useful resources, guides and materials for our 9 District Directors and three Regions of California. NOW THAT YOU SAID YES, WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AS A DISTRICT DIRECTOR?

Job Description for a District Director
Section 12.
District Directors shall:
a. serve on the Executive Committee;
b. be members of the GSRW Membership Extension Committee;
c. implement the statewide membership promotion plan approved by the Executive Committee;
d. focus on membership promotion within their District;
e. be the liaison between GSRW Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and clubs in their District;
f. make oral or written reports at the request of the President;
g. if feasible, visit each club at least once during her term in office;
h. communicate monthly, via any type of communication method, with club presidents in their District;
i. chair a District caucus at the GSRW Biennial Convention to elect the next District Director;
j. supervise the formation of new clubs in their District;
k. perform such other duties as may be assigned by the President and the Executive Committee

In addition, District Directors shall:

1. There is a District monthly meeting you must attend with the VP of Membership. (dbl check with Sherry Gillis)

2. Attend BOD mtgs, conferences, conventions and be available at the pleasure of the GSRW President.

3. In the club presidents contact list for your District add in:

GSRW President Name and Contact Information.
VP of Membership Name and Contact Information.
Membership Secretary Name and Contact Information.
List of all of the District Directors Names and Contact Information.
