RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ISRAEL
AND CONDEMNING HAMAS
WHEREAS, Golden State Republican Women members steadfastly support the State of Israel;
WHEREAS, Golden State Republican Women unequivocally condemn Hamas and its atrocious acts of terrorism;
WHEREAS, Golden State Republican Women maintain that these detestable terrorist actions of Hamas are unjustified, illegitimate – and must be condemned without exception;
WHEREAS, Golden State Republican Women support justice and freedom for Israelis, while firmly maintaining that Hamas has nothing more to offer than continued terror and bloodshed;
WHEREAS, Golden State Republican Women are united in our unwavering support of the United States government’s efforts to bring a swift end to this morally indefensible war and exact justice upon its perpetrators
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED that Golden State Republican Women
- stand with Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists;
- reaffirm Israel’s right to self-defense;
- condemn Hamas’ brutal war against Israel;
- mourn the Israeli and American deaths, and thousands of others wounded, in Hamas’ unprovoked attack on Israel;
- emphatically affirm the United States’ commitment to Israel’s security;
- urge full enforcement of United States law to prevent United States foreign assistance from benefiting terrorists, directly or indirectly;
- condemn Iran’s support for terrorist groups and proxies, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad;
- urge full enforcement of United States sanctions against Iran to prevent Iran’s funding of terrorist groups, including Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad; and
- fervently pray for the safety of Israel’s people; healing for the injured and comfort for those mourning the loss of loved ones due to these unprovoked attacks; and a swift end to this unjust war.
