MORE ON THE CALIFORNIA BUDGET. 2025 BUDGET FOR EDUCATION Under Proposition 98 which sets the minimum the State can allocate to schools, the budget includes $137 billion ($83 billion from the general fund and $54 billion other funds) for all TK-12 education programs.
